5 Facts about America you probably didn’t know

In honor of America’s 239th birthday, we’ve rounded up some fun facts about the USA.  Our advice- memorize these facts and use them to impress all your friends this weekend!


  • In Montana, cows out number people 3 to 1.

  • The US state with the longest official name is the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations.

  • Utah is home to the Rainbow Bridge, the largest natural stone bridge in the world, 290 feet high, 275 feet across.

  • There are three towns in the United States that have the name Santa Claus. (Arizona, Georgia, Indiana)

  • The grizzly bear is the official state animal of California.  But no grizzly bears have been seen there since 1922.

  • Alaska has a longer coastline than all of the other 49 U.S. states put together.
